by Mike Futter on Mar 30, 2015 at 05:46 AM

MomoCon returns to Atlanta, Georgia, this May in its 10th year. The event will host panels, voice actors, and musical performances at the Georgia World Congress Center this May.

This year’s featured panels include Halo (with voice actors Steve Downes and Keith David), Borderlands (with voice actors Ashly Burch and David Eddings), Final Fantasy MMOs, and an indie game awards showcase. The event will also host musical performances by Mega Ran and others.

The indie games awards, a new inclusion this year, will include 20 finalists that will be playable at the show. MomoCon says that there will be 130 companies in attendance, including Hi-Rez Studios, Sega, and Vlambeer.

Our Take
Regional events like MomoCon are great for those that can’t travel to PAX or the major comic conventions around the country. 20,000 people are expected at this event in 2015, up from 15,000 in 2014. This Con seems to be on the rise, taking place in a part of the country that is also growing its developer population.
