A First Look at Minecraft's New Biomes
Minecraft creator Notch has posted a YouTube video showcasing one of the upcoming huge updates for his popular game: biomes. This new functionality will warp the environments in different styles such as arctic or desert. Each type of biome will also feature unique creatures and materials. It sounds like a sizable improvement to the Minecraft formula. Check it out below.
