Pokémon Typing Game Coming To DS In Japan
Do you remember the crappy typing software that schools used to use to attempt to teach kids keyboarding skills? Me neither, barely. But Nintendo is attempting to break into this lucrative market with a new Pokémon-themed typing game for the DS.
Kotaku is reporting on this new game, which is titled Battle & Get: Pokémon Typing DS. The game will come packed in with a wireless keyboard peripheral, and it looks somewhat similar to Sega's weird on-rails-shooter-meets-typing-simulator, Typing of the Dead.
There's no word yet on if this game will make it the United States. It's definitely a weird spin-off for the Pokémon franchise, but it could be a nice quirky change of pace. Pokémon Typing is set for a 2011 release in Japan, and we'll update if we hear more.
