Funcom's The Secret World Revealing Itself In June

by Phil Kollar on Feb 21, 2012 at 03:05 PM

Originally scheduled for an April launch, Funcom has announced that the modern-day conspiracy theory/horror MMO The Secret World will now be arriving on June 19.

According to a post on the official Secret World website, the extra development time will be used "in order to apply even more polish before launch." Funcom also brags that over 750,000 people have signed up to beta test The Secret World, and nine out of ten beta testers surveyed say they'll be playing the game at launch.

Secret World creative director Ragnar Tørnquist says the developer will be doing more beta testing on the game in the mean time, including "several public beta events."

I'm definitely personally very interested in The Secret World and looking forward to checking it out during one of these beta events soon. For more on the game, check out my impressions from Gamescom.
