Spoiling Trover Saves The Universe With Creator Justin Roiland
Trover Saves the Universe is a weird game with a surprising amount of lore, storytelling, and jokes. Playing the game often prompts the reaction, "Who the hell came up with all this?" The answer is Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, and we decided to ask him that very question. We spoke with Roiland about the game's surprisingly dense lore (is Bath Tub Guy a human?), how the team came up with the best jokes (Vanilla Village is a standout), discuss the ending, and Roiland also shows off some of his early sketches for the game.
