Madden NFL 16 Free For EA Access Subscribers Starting This Week

by Javy Gwaltney on Jan 31, 2016 at 04:15 AM

EA has announced that  EA Access subscribers will soon be getting access to Madden NFL 16. And just in time for the Super Bowl!

The game will be available to download for subscribers starting on Feb 2. The Vault, EA Access' library of downloadable titles, includes Battlefield: Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Titanfall, Need For Speed Rivals, and others. The service also grants users access to certain games that EA is publishing before their release date. Unravel, the cute upcoming game starring a little man made of yarn, is one of the titles players will have early access. Subscribers will be able to play a chunk of Unravel starting February 4, several days before its release on February 9.

The service costs $4.99 a month (a full year subscription is $29.99) and is available to Xbox One and PC users though on PC, it's called Origin Access.

Our Take
I've been kind of leery of EA services since experiencing many trials and tribulations with trying to get Origin to work back in 2012 but $4.99 for a vault of quality games and early access to games is pretty tempting, I must admit.
