Gran Turismo 6 Trophy List Reveals "Low-Gravity Conditions"

by Kyle Hilliard on Nov 30, 2013 at 07:59 AM

Gran Turismo 6's Trophy list is online, and it offers a few more details about the lunar rover vehicle we saw in a trailer earlier this month.

Most of the Trophies are straightforward, with awards for getting stars and gold, and for bumping into cones, but the most interesting Trophies appear to take place on the moon. The 'Moon Mission Accomplished!' and 'One Giant Leap' Trophies task players with completing all the lunar exploration missions and making a three-second jump in low-gravity conditions.

You can find the full list of Gran Turismo 6's Trophies on Exophase.

Our Take
I love the idea of Polyphony's commitment to realistic racing and physics taken to the moon. Past video games have taken us to the moon, even in vehicles, but I doubt any have offered the representation of the moon's physics that Gran Turismo 6 will. I also hope that you will be able to drive more than just the lunar rover up there, just for the sake of absurdity – something Gran Turismo is, admittedly, not known for.
