Celebrate The PSPgo's Release With Discount RPGs

by Phil Kollar on Oct 01, 2009 at 06:58 AM

Are you one of the masses rushing out to check out Sony's latest download-only iteration of the PSP? If so, NIS America has a deal for you! A handful of older NIS RPG releases for the PSP will be 50% off for all of launch week, making these lengthy games a mere $4.99 to $9.99 each.

The full list of discounted titles is as follows (via the PlayStation Blog):

  • Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light
  • Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
  • Dragoneer's Aria
  • Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This?
  • Mana Khemia: Student Alliance
  • Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?

For any PSP owners who are into RPGs, these are some pretty excellent deals. Dropping $15 or $20 could net you hundreds of hours of gameplay on your new handheld. Not bad at all!

For those less interested in digital downloads, you still might want to check out the PlayStation Blog post. NIS has included a poll asking readers whether or not they should release a UMD version of the currently download-only Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman. If you've got any stakes in the battle between digital downloads and physical media and you're remotely curious about NIS's quirky dungeon sim, be sure to go vote. As of posting the "No UMD" votes are ahead by just a bit.
