Contest: Write A Bloodborne Haiku
If you're like me, From Software's punishing new action-RPG has conjured no end of obscenities in your living room, as you attempt to (and hopefully succeed in) overcoming Yharnam's endless challenges and pitfalls. Now it's time to channel all your joy/frustration/joystration into a creative outlet: writing a Bloodborne-inspired haiku.
Haiku are short Japanese poems consisting of three lines. The first line is five syllables, the second is seven syllables, and the final line is five again (Japanese haiku have a bunch of other fancy-pants rules, but we'll stick with the basics because we're not poetry majors, am I right?). This concise and simple format makes it easy to write a haiku in just a couple of minutes – the perfect way to spend the average load time in Bloodborne.

You can focus on a weapon you love, a boss you loathe, the beautiful locales, or that creepy talking doll – anything you want! In a few days we'll go through the poems and post the best of the best in a separate feature. Here's my example to get you going, written in italics to make it seem more classy:
Oh Father Gascoigne,
Though my deaths may
be endless,
Your days are
numbered.
