WildStar Dev Outlines PvP

The latest DevSpeak video from WildStar developer Carbine Studios outlines the MMO's PvP component.

The video covers the game's fast-paced PvP, aiming, and Arena types: open (available at level 30) and rated (at level 50). Similarly, the game's open and rated Battlegrounds are accessible at levels 6 and 50, respectively.

For more on the game (which is out for PC in June) take a look at this previous trailer, our experience with the beta, and a podcast featuring design producer Stephan Frost.

  • I dunno, I feel like one of those people back when WoW first came out, but the art style really isn't jiving with me.

  • Another mmo thats being hyped that brings nothing new to the table and rehashes everything thats been done since wow came out........

  • this game is soo painful on the eyes - it like a rainbow threw up animated vomit on your computer screen - I played for about six hours over two days and just couldn't take it any more.

  • I thought this was the most uninspired boring MMORPG Ive played in a long time. Maybe that because it rips off a lot of things done to death ...hence Themepark MMORPG # 569 rehash

  • This game has not really made me excited at all to play it. I've watched videos and read a lot of articles on it, and I just can't seem to get into wanting to play it. Maybe it's the art style or the gameplay. Idk. I've had so much fun playing Tera Rising online lately, and that's actually free to play. Not to mention the graphics on Tera are amazing. To each their own, I guess.
  • I kind of lost interest in this game after signing up for the Beta 6 different ways and never getting in. Is it really supposed to be ready by June?
