Wildstar Adventure MMO Launching In June

Wildstar, the upcoming MMO from developer Carbine, officially launches in June.

The game launches on June 3, but pre-ordering the game allows you to start playing on May 31. You'll also get Rocket House (seen in the gallery below), a mini-ship housing decoration with bonus experience, a 10-slot storage bag, and the opportunity to reserve you character and guild name prior to launch. To pre-order the game, head here.

There are two versions available for pre-order. The standard edition, which is $59.99, includes 30 days of play time, three 7-day friend passes, and an Eldan-themed Housing Décor item. The digital deluxe version of the game adds $15 to the price, includes all the content of the standard edition as well as an Eldan Hoverboard, a unique costume, a unique Eldan player title and a limited-edition Eldan dye set.

  • Never got a beta invite :( I'll try it out next year when it inevitably goes F2P.
  • Finally! was getting worried about them ever announcing a release date for this.

  • I want to believe this is going to be amazing... I will at least give it a try.

  • Another $60 MMO requiring subscription fees and this one doesn't even have the benefit of a popular IP behind it? Can we say soon to be f2p?
  • Until this article, I had never heard of this game. From the description, I'm quite interested...however...did anyone else see that picture and think you were looking at a Ratchet and Clank game?
  • Oh are we still putting out games with monthly sub? I thought this was 2014 and we were past this. No thanks.
  • The beta for this was really fun, I'll have to see if I can snag it.

  • I am glad they finally issued a release date. I have been following this game for awhile but didn't get the beta. I gladly will pay a subscription fee if the content is deserving of it, but fortunately this game has a pretty cool alternative if you don't want to pay a monthly subscription.

  • Finally a release date! The beta was pretty cool, so I cannot wait for the full game.

  • i really wish this mmo well, i played the beta and it was alot of fun =D

  • Until a game comes up with a way to make professions and making money fun I am done with MMOs. The fun of combat is usually outweighed by the constant boredom of grinding for money.
