The lights are on
What new ideas the game brings to the table and how well old ideas are presented.
How good a game looks, taking into account any flaws such as bad collision or pop-up.
Does the game’s music and sound effects get you involved or do they make you resolve to always play with the volume down?
Basically, the controller to human interface. The less you think about the hunk of plastic in your hands, the better the playability.
Flat out, just how fun the game is to play. The most important factor in rating a game.
EA and Respawn Entertainment have revealed new details on Titanfall's Frontier Militia, including three new character profiles.
A post on the official Titanfall blog provides
some new insight into the Frontier Militia, which defends homesteaders from the
encroaching force of the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation. The Militia is
made up of different brigades, some of which have military backgrounds, while
others are more self-serving – i.e. outlaws, mercenaries, and space pirates(!).
The post also outlines three important characters in the
Frontier Militia: MacAllan, a former IMC military man who led a mutiny against
the organization and stole one its ships; Bish, a hacker-for-hire with a
personal grudge against the IMC; and Sarah, a Militia commander whose family
was killed by the IMC and is out for revenge. I think I'm sensing a theme here...
You can check out the full profiles and character art at the
official Titanfall site.

My excitement is already through the roof, I'm ready to play on that beta. The wait is almost over.
Boy I gotta tell you, these characters seem really uninteresting. Gameplay still looks good though.
I hope there's more news on the beta soon, so I know where to sign up.
Do the people who got to play the alpha get the beta?
Was it about the beta on the date, and do you have to for sure pre order it to get in or not?
Happy V Day to all, Titanfall beta on February 14th!
This game is going to be great and all, but I already want to punch MacAllan in the face and he hasn't even opened his mouth yet.
COD + Mechs. No thanks. Next please.
Now see that picture on this topic. It makes this game look like interesting game with characters (and hopefully some developement in them) and story that you would want to follow. But alas, this game is nothing but pvp ganking...
mutiny against the organization and stole one its ships;
EDIT: mutiny against the organization and stole one of its ships;
For some reason the Titanfall website seems to be down. Anyone else have that issue?
