The lights are on
In the latest developer diary for The Bureau: XCOM Declassfied, lead narrative designer Erik Caponi talks about the title's world and characters. This latest evolution of the XCOM franchise is more than a third-person alien-hunting expedition, it's a character-driven adventure.
While the perspective and the story have changed in the three years since the title began development, the presence of William Carter in the lead role has remained constant. Caponi also discusses the collaborative nature of story design, putting emphasis on the interplay between level design, art, and narrative craft.
