The lights are on
We know plenty about BioWare's upcoming MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, at this point, but that's not going to stop us from getting excited at very new bit of info that EA sees fit to drip-feed us. The good stuff this week? A video showing off a new PvP warzone in the game.
In this video you can see the Republic and Empire fighting on board the Voidstar, an abandoned experimental ship containing technology that both sides desire. Check it out below, and if you're looking for more Old Republic info take a look at our 10 Things You Need To Know About The Old Republic, my hands-on with PvP from Comic-Con, and info on the Huttball PvP mode from Gamescom.
Pretty good trailer, but now I'm seeing that music that was playing in the background, everywhere. I first saw it in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, if anyone knows the name of that song, message it to me, thanks!
If only it didn't have a monthly fee...
Can we get some HD videos please? This vid looks like it was captured on 800x600 at best... like some of the recent vids for War in the North. It's a turn off.
Part of me is really excited for me and part isn't, I'll have to read a lot of impressions on it and hopefully head over to a friend's house who has it and try it out before a purchase.
Less than 2 months and let the fun begin!
Looks cool, I'm glad they're going for a strong pvp presence right when the game comes out, should add a lot of variety for players who want to experience everything the game has to offer.
Getting pretty excited about this game. I didn't get to check out the beta, but I've heard really great things about it.
I hope that this game does extremely well. Bioware has a lot of pressure on it but they'll succeed way more than WoW.
Looks like a lame MMO. Yawn.....
I'm not an MMO fan, but Star Wars could win me over.
this is pretty neat. but a Sith lord having a purple sword. than why would Mace Windu have a purple sword.
Looks pretty "meh" to be honest.. Combat seems very static and non-exciting... :( Not too keen on this game yet..
I'm hearing a re-mixed version of Two Steps from Hell's "Black Blade" as the background music; Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning also used that song in a trailer they released just recently. I guess it's quite popular. :)
i would rather see a starwars battlefront III
this looks like freerelms just starwars version
