The lights are on
In addition to lengthy solo-friendly story quests, Star Wars: The Old Republic will be fleshed out with group-focused instances called "flashpoints." A few weeks ago at Comic-Con, BioWare showed off one of the game's first flashpoints for Republic players, the Esseles, and now you can check it out for yourself.
This video includes some story segments, plenty of combat, and even some developer commentary on this difficult mission where players must protect an important diplomat from Imperials. Watch the full 13-minute video below.
I can never really get into MMORPGs. I see how someponies can get into this, but it's really hard for me to sit on my flank for 5 hours straight doing the same thing until I level up. Maybe The Old Republic could be different.
sweet! glad i got this
I aready love this game.
This is incredible, love the dialogue choices and morality. also those are great graphics for an mmo.
...that persons name was aness...
Im getting this game i dont even care it looks sooo awesome! Im not huge on MMOs but im gonna get this and really try to dig into it. It looks like it has a lot of potential kinda has that feel of KOTOR but updated to be be an MMO.
That's cool. But I don't play PC games much or MMOs. I hope Bioware makes an RPG in the future with a multiplayer mode like this; all co-op instanced stuff, like a Phantasy Star Online or Borderlands, but with this multiplayer conversation mechanic.
Game is going to be amazing on my new Alienware with 23inch Hd monitor. Quad core i7 and duo nvidia 560's with 10k rpm!
will this game work with a 360 controller?
This one is going to ruin my social life. Screw Wow, Eve, and Rift, this is the MMO i've been waiting for.
So this is what dreams are made of.... Magical.
time to build a new PC.
