The lights are on
Want to see how each class in the Star Wars MMO will come together as you level? The Old Republic's new advanced class page lets you explore the options. The folks over at BioWare have put up a fun new page over at the Star Wars: The Old Republic official website. Using the new online feature on the redesigned advanced classes page, you can click through each of the eight major classes in the game, as well as the advanced classes that unlock as you advance. Each class has two specialized careers that affect your personal build, letting you specialize in various party roles, like healing or damage, as well as altering your abilities and equipment options. While BioWare is careful to state that the builds are still being tweaked, and are subject to change before launch, you can now begin to develop a good sense of the character you hope to create when the game releases, hopefully before the end of the year. It's cool how all the classes are two classes in one.
I'll most likely be a Jedi Consular Shadow.
I might have to check this out.
Not a huge MMO person, but this might sway me.
Nice! Although I keep thinking maybe it woyuld've been better if they had made a KotOR III, instead of an MMO. I'm not really convinced this is the live-the-Star Wars-universe experience I am looking for.
cool, i'll check this out later.
I hope it's familar in gameplay towards Star Wars Galaxies!
Thats an interesting way to get people even more excited for this. more PC developers should look at this as a pre-release attention grab.
sweet now give us the release date
This is pretty awesome, though the headline made me think I'd be able to make my character now and import him when the game came out! Don't tease me!
