The lights are on
Following in the footsteps of its free-to-play cousin, Tekken, the free-to-play Soulcalibur Lost Swords is now available to download on PlayStation 3.
Bandai Namco is commemorating the launch with a trailer that showcases familiar fighters Siegfried, Sophia, Mitsurugi, Ivy, and Taki. The game is free to download, but offers micro-transactions related to the purchase of material used to create weapons. For more on the game, head here. You can also check out a handful of screens from the game in the gallery below.

By "free to play" do they mean pay to play like TR?
It looks like fun but I want a brand new Soul Calibur game for PS4, One and Wii U instead of this.
I wounder how important those micro transactions are in this game. Hopefully they dont make the defirence between wining and loosing.
Soul Caliber is cool, wake me up when it's a new Tekken game.
Sorry I cant ever get behind this model
Bewbs for the win lol! Hopefully this isn't pay to win I never did get to play the Tekken FTP game PS3 got traded for the PS4
Bring back Talim, then we'll talk.
And if you're going to do that, just make a new-gen Soul Calibur VI instead.
Remember, folks, games like this only get made because money is made off of 'em. Even downloading the title serves to let publishers and developers know that they can still interest people in products which use the F2P model.
A free-to-play Soulcalibur game? Count me in!
Too bad the servers aren't working.
Why not make a full purchase game, I do not like the "Free To Play" fighting models.
guise, the womyn in this game have boobs, i call sexism
I hate the F2P model.
No interest in this, and hope this isn't what the fighting genre will turn into. Played TR about two days before flushing it and it's garbage model. That game was a complete joke and this likely will be as well.
