Shift 2 Unleashed
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit introduced the Autolog – an online feature that constantly updates you on what your friends are doing, and which lets you throw up challenges and best times on a universal speedwall. EA's Shift 2 Unleashed comes out on March 29th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and it also uses Autolog. Check out the feature in action courtesy of real-life drift superstars Matt Powers and Vaughn Gittin Jr.
The video trailer below introduces the two drivers and talks about how easy it is to use Autolog to throw challenges at your friends. The clip also touches on the game's car upgrade system, which lets you buy upgrade packages for different areas of your car from suspension to your engine, etc. You'll also get a taste of how to drift in Shift 2, utilizing things like linking drifts, corner entry, and managing your acceleration.
