I really can't say with only this much footage. It looks really realistic, but we have to wait and see if it can measure up to the realism of something like Gran Turismo. Another thing for the developers to keep in mind is that realistic doesn't always mean fun. How fun would Call of Duty be if it took two shots to kill someone? If cars crumpled and exploded in GT5? Nonetheless, this looks like a blast!

With all this hype of realistic cockpit view, I hope they can deliver with a better graphic system for the cockpit. That would definitely bump up the realism experience when drifting.

Real racer....HA!  Arcade racer is more like it.

L.A. Noire is a Racing game?

I doubt it's going to be the most realistic racer ever. Gran Turismo has set the bar pretty high in that regard and it's far-fetched to believe another game will come in and take them down in one fell swoop.

I think the mix of arcade and simulation styles of racing will be a good combination, and a lot more fun than pure simulation. I've got a car, I don't want to play just a car driving game.

I dunno if I really have any want to try this out. Too many other great games, and I'm about as raced out as one can get.
