The lights are on
Sacred 3 has been a long time coming, but it looks like fans' wait might finally be over. Publisher Deep Silver has announced an official release date for the title and delivered a gameplay trailer.
The trailer below shows off the new Malakhim character as well as the game's co-op gameplay (2-player offline, 4-player online).
Sacred 3 comes out for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on August 26, and the title will ship with the Underworld story DLC featuring Sacred 2's Black Seraphim.

Be funny if it got pushed back again.
Finally I can finally be ready for Sacred 3. I hope it is better than Sacred 2 on consoles.
Will bosses actually have a higher percent chance to drop loot than normal peons? That always irked me about Sacred. You'd spend 10 minutes defeating a boss and nothing unique drops. You had a better chance at getting cool items off the little imps you killed getting to the boss than the actual boss itself.
Glad they're following up Sacred 2, which I enjoy. Can't wait.
I wonder if it'll be as big as Sacred 2. That game was massive.
Getting it. 2 was great.
great sacred 3 now all i have to do is play number 1 and 2
TO ME, this looks extremely similar to Diablo 3, from combat to level design.
