Not every NHL player can dangle the puck with silky smooth moves, but at least NHL 14 developer EA Canada is making it a little easier for players of the game to pull off their best dekes. A new trailer for the game explains its new one-touch deke system as well as improved defense.
Series producer Sean Ramjagsingh walks through how the one-touch dekes work as opposed to their more complicated execution in previous games, and also shows how defenders' vision and horizontal movement will put them in a better position.
For more on the game, be sure to check out a similar video on its improved physics system, as well as a general overview of the features announced.
NHL 14 comes out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 10.

Intriguing new mechanics if pulled off.
Online versus mode needs progression of some sort. What about a stanley cup mode where you have to be top 40% (after 20 games) with a specific team to reach the playoffs? And when you get there its best out of 3 gamez.
