This trailer is cool looking but if I had never heard anything else on this game I would have assumed it was hack and slash style, not strategy.

Definitely conjures images of LoTR Conquest in my head what with the glowing weapons and hero vs. hero combat. It's a shame that the actual gameplay will most likely be nothing like this. Still looks fun though...I'll be keeping my eye out for this one in the fall.

Ok so the dwarf is now Thor, Gollum can now somehow fight someone like Gandalf, and Sauron looks nothing like he did in the films (assuming that's him) despite Gandalf and Legolas being picture-perfect. What is going on here?

Trailer is cool. My expectations for the game are just as low as before.

Neat trailer, though if it's an action strategy game I can see why the trailer really isn't like the game at all.  Also odd that Gollum is trying to directly take on Gandalf . . . that's kind of a lopsided fight.  Still a neat trailer though.  Yeah, glowing weapons don't really mesh with the established LOTR universe, but they sure are awesome :-)

Looks pretty cool, but I think this is going to do too well. I hope it does because LOTR needs a good franchise.

I don't know how well the game will turn out, but the trailer was awesome.
