The lights are on
Warner Bros. Interactive today announced Guardians of Middle-earth, a downloadable multiplayer online battle arena game being developed by Monolith Productions. The game includes more than 20 characters and supports five-on-five battles.
Some of the playable guardians include Gandalf, Sauron, Gollum, and Thráin, and Warner says players can expect tie-ins to Peter Jackson's upcoming film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
The game is due out this fall on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Look for more details next week as E3 festivities begin.

ohh Gandalf wow can't wait to play as him
I wonder if it will be 2D like Awsomenauts or 3D like League of Legends.
I was personally hoping for another mk...
I saw Gandalf and "Announces" and got really excited thinking it was a Lord of the Rings RPG like "The White Council" that they cancelled, or something else like that. Oh well.
I love Lord of the rings but I'm going to pass on this.
at least they are trying to make LOTR based games
Really having trouble imagining this...
Come on, show us some gameplay or at least a screenshot!
Should have some interesting gameplay. Definitely has my attention.
Well the art always looks good for LOTR games but the games themselves alway seem to be lacking something. Here's to hoping for the best!
Terrible idea
i love Lord of the Rings but personally, there hasn't been a good LOTR in a while.
cool but its going to suck like most lord of the rings games
