The lights are on
Battle of Z is a new take on the Dragon Ball Z fighter from a new developer, and we played through a short demo to see how the game is coming together.
Battle of Z opens up the combat arena giving players a full range of movement in 8-player battle royales. Video producer Ben Hanson and myself have been fans of the show since its North American airing on Cartoon Network more than 10 years a ago, so we decided to take a look at the new fighting system in action.

I miss the Budokai mechanic where you could transform mid-battle. No flashy cut-scenes, nothing to stop the action. Just a quick pause of the action, then BAM! You're transformed and ready to go, with the degree of your transformation depending on how much energy you'd saved up.
I've been a fan of DBZ since it first aired and still am to this day. This looks like a great addition to the series. ^_^
I enjoyed watching the video. I probably won't get it, but it was cool to see a different take on a Dragonball game. I'm hopeful we'll also get Artdink's Madoka Magica Vita game.
looks awesome, great video
Can I have my Red Ribbon Army Commander team from DB please!?!
In the end I would rather buy a new DBZ Dynasty Warriors or whatever other kind of game you want it to be that isn't fighting.
