The lights are on
I'm beginning to think that the sequel to Deep Silver's Dead Island might be gunning for an M rating. But judge for yourself with these new screens.
Dead Island: Riptide is developed by Techland and is slated to release for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on April 23, 2013. For more on the game, check out our exclusive video interview with the game's producer Sebastian Reichert.

Seems less over the top in gore and body parts compared to some other zombie games.
Certainly looks like an improvement from the original, but what it could look like in motion is a different story.
Let's hope this one won't be a massive disappointment. I have my doubts.
Looking forward to this game!
Looks awesome I think Dead Island is an Amazing game.
I still wish that the developers took a long look at their trailer and the end result of the first game and really strived to completely re-do the story, dialogue and characters. Making for a more emotional journey with heart wrenching decisions that would have serious effects to you and the survivors on the Island. The combat, sounds and graphics are pretty top notch, but without that heart and soul, I'm just not interested in this :/
Please...fix the animations. That's all I ask, other than a creepier atmosphere.
nice one.
fix the animations and motions and make it feel less laggy, also, if you make the way your character picks up stuff, that would make me happy
after all, what would a zombie 'anything' be without some gore and an explosion?
Lots o' guns this time around! Love the first game. Can't wait for this one.
