Activision: Destiny 2 Is Slated For Fall Release
During the call and answer portion of today's Activision Blizzard earnings call, the publisher revealed that Destiny 2 is slated to release this fall. We knew the game was coming in 2017, but this is the first confirmation given by either Activision or Bungie that Destiny 2 is set to launch during fall.
We've reached out to Bungie for comment and will update the article accordingly if we hear back.

Our Take
It's not surprising that Destiny 2 will likely be coming in fall. The original game launched in September, after all, and the holiday release schedule is often bursting at the seams with games. Still, it's good to know that the game is on track.
