Snag Mythical Pokémon Celebi In Celebration of 20th Anniversary
Starting today you’ll be able to download Celebi for free in celebration of Pokémon’s 20th Anniversary. A different mythical Pokémon will be distributed each month, and Celebi is the second one released this year.
You’ll be able to grab your Level 100 Celebi from now until March 24 via the Nintendo Network. If you didn’t get the chance to pick up last month’s free Mew, there’s still some hope left. Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow recently released on the 3DS eShop with the ability to transfer your creatures to the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Glitches and exploits like finding Missingno on the coast of Cinnabar and catching Mew are still retained in the eShop versions of Red and Blue. Don’t say you heard it from us, but there are still “legit” ways of procuring Mew.
