The lights are on
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee was a launch title for the original Xbox that was ported to PC and released on Steam back in 2010 in reportedly rather buggy condition. A few days ago developer Oddworld Inhabitants announced that a replacement port would be hitting Steam sometime in the future, with it being given as a free update to anyone who owns the original port.
Here's the announcement in full:

We'll have details on how you can join the beta test if you wish,
and in due course, we'll have details on the port replacement as it
Rest assured we are committed to ensuring that all Oddworld fans get
the experience they rightly deserve with our games. We will ensure that
this version of Munch's Oddysee is fully supported and any bugs that
arise are addressed.
The port that's currently available on Steam has many negative reviews with users claiming the game crashes to the desktop and that it has graphical issues as well as issues with gamepad functionality.

Our TakeIt's unfortunate that it's taken years for Oddworld Inhabitants to ready a replacement port for what appears to be a pretty broken game. However, at least people who already own the thing will get the new version for free.
