NetherRealm Studios announced a bit ago they were bringing some new DLC characters to Mortal Kombat X this year, including horror movie favorites like Leatherface and the titular Alien . We haven't really  gotten a chance to see the new characters in action. According to Ed Boon, the creative director of NetherRealm Studios, that changes next week.

Boon took to Twitter to make the announcement, short and sweet:

Brian Shea reviewed Mortal Kombat X and called it, "a fantastic successor in every sense," scoring it a 9.25. Mortal Kombat X is also our pick for Fighting Game of The Year.

Our Take
The part of me that loves Mortal Kombat X is hyped for some more characters to play with. The Alien enthusiast in me  is annoyed at how dumb Baraka-Alien looks. Almost as dumb as the word Xenomorph. Almost.
