Ghost Trick Pulled From iOS App Store For Repairs

by Kyle Hilliard on Oct 06, 2015 at 01:46 PM

Capcom has pulled Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective from iTunes, but says it should be back soon after a few repairs.

The game was pulled from iTunes and was even reportedly removed from users' purchase history according to Touch Arcade, preventing re-download for those who own the game. Speaking to Polygon, Capcom said the the game was being pulled in order to make it compatible with the latest firmware update and said it should be back online soon, but did not offer offering a re-release window.

Capcom's recent Monster Hunter Freedom Unite encountered similar compatibility issues, but unlike Ghost Trick, there are no immediate plans to repair the game.

Our Take
I have a lot of love for the DS version of Ghost Trick. I never played the iOS version, but I was glad it was there, if only as a way for more players to give the game a shot. I hope it gets better soon.
