Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Release Date Announced

by Matthew Kato on Aug 31, 2015 at 04:35 AM

Square Enix has announced the release date for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and along with it an interesting pre-order campaign.

The game comes out on February 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and the pre-order structure lets you choose which bonuses you want based on multiple tiers.

Furthermore, the more people pre-order the game, the more tiers and free items open up. For example, the first tier lets you choose from the Intruder (stealth), Enforcer (aggressive), or Classic packs. Each comes with a custom skin for Adam Jensen, as well as bonuses such as accuracy and weapon upgrades. Later tiers include a pre-order mission, a comic book, and a soundtrack. The fifth and final tier releases the game four days early.

It's unknown what the pre-order goals are to unlock each successive tier or if there is any cutoff date for the campaign.

For more information, check out this official site which lets you view the rewards, a video, and an FAQ.

A Collector's Edition for the game is also available, featuring all the items from the pre-order campaign as well as a 48-page art book, nine-inch Adam Jensen figure, steelbook, and the Day 1 edition of the game.

Our Take:
An interesting part of this program is that you have 90 days after the game comes out to choose your rewards, and you can change them throughout the process once you've signed up on Square's website.
