Microsoft Will Be Attending Gamescom
After this morning's report that Sony would be skipping Gamescom, many were curious if Microsoft would be following suit.
Responding to inquiry on twitter on whether Microsoft planned to split announcements between E3 and Gamescom, head of Xbox Phil Spencer offered the following reply:
@VernAtXboxUncut @iamironwolf Sure, we think GC is an important conference for us. One of the biggest game shows in the world.

Last year at Gamescom, Microsoft announced new hardware bundles, Rise of the Tomb Raider details, beta details for Fable Legends and Evolve, and the revealed that Goat Simulator would release on the Xbpx One.
Our Take
Sony's decision to sit this one out is still surprising, considering the size of the German show. It's no surprise Microsoft plans to attend, but it's nice to get a confirmation.
