Destiny House Of Wolves Broadcast To Show New Area, Explain Gear Upgrades
With House of Wolves just a month away, Bungie is starting to plan tours of the new locations we’ll be visiting. That’s right, the new expansion won’t just rehash areas we’ve already visited.
One of the bigger new features is a completely new social area. We apparently will have reason to visit the The Tower still, but the Vestian Outpost is going to be the home for high-level guardians.
That means there will be new vendors to meet and we’ll be getting our marching orders for missions and patrols from different NPCs. Bungie will be providing a live tour of the Vestian Outpost next Wednesday, April 22.
You can tune in at 11 a.m. Pacific / 2 p.m. Eastern on Bungie’s Twitch channel. During that time, you’ll also find out how gear upgrades will work. Surely you want to keep that Gjallarhorn operating at peak efficiency (if you have one, of course).

Our Take
I’m interested to see what the Reef has in store, but most curious about how Bungie will handle gear upgrades. The transition from vanilla to The Dark Below was onerous, and a repeat performance would no doubt erode the player base significantly. Thankfully, we’ve already been promised that the mistakes of The Dark Below won’t be repeated.
