Destiny Patch Mined For Potential House Of Wolves Info

by Matthew Kato on Apr 15, 2015 at 04:58 AM

Destiny's new 1.1.2 patch has already been mined for data that may point to the contents of the upcoming House of Wolves expansion.

According to this Reddit summary post of data in the patch that apparently points to the contents in House of Wolves, the expansion will contain two social spaces (Queen's Bay and Halls of Amentet), a new strike on the moon called The Shadow Thief, three story missions, three quests, the mentioning of five PvP maps, dozens of ship schematics, and more.

We won't know exactly what's in the expansion until Bungie officially spills the details, and the developer has already cautioned the public against believing everything we hear about it. Back in February, David Dague, Bungie community manager, said of a House of Wolves leak at the time, "...anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves. We reserve the right to overwrite anything you're looking at right now."

At this point, Bungie has announced that House of Wolves will not contain a raid, but instead the three-player Prison of Elders co-op battle arena that is speculated to serve as the expansion's end game content.

House of Wolves comes out on May 19 for all the versions of the game, and is covered under the Expansion Pass ($34.99) or can be purchased individually for $19.99.
