Playtonic Games Shows Its Banjo-Kazooie Successor's First Fully Animated Character
Playtonic Games has been offering small teases for its Banjo-Kazooie successor, code named Project Ukelele, and the latest shows a fully animated character.
It's not the game's main character, who we've only presumably seen hidden in some of the game's first pieces of art. Instead, it's one of the game's minions offered as a reward for the studio reaching 30,000 twitter followers. You can check out the character below.

If you're unfamiliar with Playtonic Games and Project Ukelele, it's a young studio made of former Rare developers who worked extensively on titles like Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, among other Rare titles. Project Ukelele is the studios' still mostly shrouded in secret, self-defined Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor. You can learn more about the studio and its game here, here, here, and here. We will learn a lot more about the game next month, when the studio will launch its Kickstarter initiative to fund the game's development.

That guy certainly looks like a Banjo-Kazooie enemy, which should be excited for those who want Banjo-Kazooie-flavored classic platformer from the folks who helped establish the genre. I'm looking forward to learning more about the game.
