EA Access Members Get 10 Hours Of Early Battlefield Hardline Time

by Mike Futter on Feb 25, 2015 at 09:12 AM

EA has a second announcement for members of its Xbox One-exclusive Access program today. Earlier, we reported that NBA Live 15 has entered the vault, making it the eighth such free-with-membership title.

Today, EA has detailed it’s early play time plan for Battlefield Hardline. The publisher is increasing the amount of time you can enjoy the title before release from six hours of previous titles to ten hours.

You’ll have access to both single- and multiplayer, though the campaign only offers the prologue and first chapter. All of the maps and modes are included on the multiplayer side.

For more on Battlefield Hardline, check out our previous coverage. The title will be out on March 17 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. Early play time starts on March 12 for EA Access members.

Our Take
It’s good to see EA increasing the early play time for Access members. For those that might be on the fence about this different take on the franchise, being able to try before you buy might be most useful. There’s a lot riding on the success of Battlefield Hardline (including redeeming the brand after Battlefield 4). Good buzz from EA Access members could be a powerful force.
