Online Heists Coming To GTA V In March, PC Version Delayed Again

by Jeff Cork on Feb 24, 2015 at 04:41 AM

Grand Theft Auto V's long-awaited Online Heists update finally has a release date more specific than "soon." Players will be able to take on large, structured heists with four players on consoles in March. PC players will have to remain patient, as the game has been delayed again for the platform.

Criminally minded console players can download the free update on March 10. It's coming to PC a month later, on April 14. If it's any consolation, the heist update will be on PC the day the game is available, whether you buy it at retail or download it; Also, if you've preordered the PC game, you'll get an additional $200,000 of GTA Online cash.

While you wait, take a look at the new screens in the gallery below.

Our Take
Delays aren't fun for players, but it's hard to complain too loudly if the additional time gives Rockstar what it needs to deliver the best possible game. The PC version includes several platform exclusives, including higher-res visuals and support for ultra high-definition displays. Better still, players will be able to use a new in-game editor to record and edit their own custom clips.
