Next Super Smash Bros. Character Reveal Scheduled For July 14
A new challenger approaches next week. The Super Smash Bros. roster isn’t yet full, and Nintendo is giving us our first look at another character in just a few days’ time.
A live video will be available at 7:00 a.m. Pacific/10:00 a.m. Eastern on Monday, July 14. You can tune in on the official Smash Bros. website, which features a live YouTube embed.
For more on Super Smash Bros., check out our coverage from E3 as the Wii Fit Trainer and Greninja. The 3DS version is slated to release on October 3. The Wii U version is yet undated, though Nintendo is targeting the “Holiday 2014” window.

Our Take
This would be a perfect time for Nintendo to lock down a release date for the Wii U version. I’m curious to see who is added to the roster, especially since “new challenger” hints that this will be his or her first appearance in the series.
