Giant Squid Partners With 505 Games For ABZÛ [Trailer Added]
Giant Squid, helmed by former thatgamecompany art director Matt Nava, is partnering with 505 Games to release ABZÛ.
ABZÛ has been in development for a year and is planned for release in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC. We spoke with Nava shortly after he announced the creation of his new studio following his departure from thatgamecompany. He served as art director on games like Journey and Flower and though at the time he wasn't ready to reveal what he was working on, he did confirm that we could expect it to be a similarly art-focused interactive experience.
505 Games is known mostly for titles like Sniper Elite and Payday, but it did produce Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, a game many would consider to be an art-focused title comparable to Nava's previous titles.
