Battlefield 3 Is 'On The House' On Origin
If you own a PC and don't know about EA's On The House promotions, you are missing out on free games. The most recent offering is DICE's Battlefield 3, which you can pick up with no strings attached via Origin.
Battlefield 3 is a first-person military shooter with an emphasis on strategic multiplayer. Even though it's a few years old, this promotion should ensure that some players will be online and looking for matches.
Once you claim the game, it's yours to keep for as long as you want it. Battlefield 3 follows in the footsteps of Plants vs. Zombies and Dead Space, both of which were also offered through the program.
Our Take
No one can complain about free games, even if they aren't the most cutting-edge titles. Even so, Battlefield 3 is a great game, and is an opportunity for gamers to get into the series amid all of the recent hype surrounding Battlefield: Hardline.
