Late last month Microsoft announced that Fulgore and an arcade mode would be coming to Killer Instinct in April. Today, you can grab the sizeable title update.

This 6.8 GB add-on includes the cyborg fighter Fulgure, eight-player lobbies, arcade mode, and the ability to spectate matches. This is the last batch of content created by Double Helix, which was recently purchased by Amazon to work on games for its new Fire TV device. DiveKick developer Iron Galaxy is taking over development duties from here out.

Our Take
With Killer Instinct employing a free-to-play economic model, Iron Galaxy will have to keep issuing regular content updates like this moving forward. Take too large of a break in between additions, and the community may migrate elsewhere.
