The lights are on
Developer Nyamyam is making good on its promise of an early 2014 release for its mobile adventure title Tengami. The game is heavily inspired by Japanese paper art and pop-up books, as we detailed in our preview from PAX last August.
Nyamyam tweeted that the game will be coming first to iOS for $4.99 as a universal app on February 20. Wii U, PC, and Mac installments will come later this year, likely in the summer.
You can check out a gameplay trailer demonstrating how touch interface will be used in the game. You can also read our PAX preview for more information.

Our TakeTim’s description of the puzzles in Tengami, and more importantly, how they are woven into the pop-up book/papercraft motif, has me very interested. My favorite iOS games are The Room and The Room 2. If Nyamyam has constructed puzzles half as engaging, I’ll be thrilled to have this on my iPad.
