The lights are on
Sony has confirmed that the odd indie title Murasaki Baby, to which we first were introduced at Gamescom 2013, will be coming to North America. The title is in development at Italian studio Ovosonico.
In Murasaki Baby, players are responsible for guiding a young girl through her strange dream world. Using the Vita’s touch screen, you’ll take her hand and change the mood of the world to solve puzzles.
If you’re planning on attending IndieCade East in New York City this weekend, you’ll have a chance to get your hands on the title. Murasaki Baby is due out later this year. You can read our hands-on impressions from Gamescom 2013 here.

Our TakeMurasaki Baby appears to have some interesting puzzles to complement its dark aesthetic. The Vita has become home to unique experiences, and I’m always glad to find one that takes advantage of the handheld’s features.
Trippy.
Very interesting. I love games that feel fresh, even if they are weird at the same time. Maybe especially if they are weird at the same time.
More awesome original games coming for the platform. And people complain there's nothing to play lol
I'm diggin the game's art style.
Love the visuals. This has some potential. Kind of wish though for standard controls over the touchscreen being overdone--I'm old fashioned, I know, but the touchscreen control is often tricky, especially when playing on the go (not to mention blocking the view of what you're actually doing).
