PlayStation Plus Members Get BioShock Infinite For Free Tomorrow

by Andrew Reiner on Jan 13, 2014 at 08:22 AM

Starting tomorrow (after the next PlayStation Store update hits), Irrational Games' BioShock Infinite is a free download for PlayStation Plus subscribers. BioShock Infinite is one of the most celebrated experiences of 2013, captivating players with its beautifully realized characters and world. If you haven't traveled to the floating city of Columbia yet, you have no excuse now. Visit it for the story. Stay for the hot dogs you'll eat out of trashcans.

The PlayStation Store update removes Ico (PS3) and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (Vita) from the free Instant Games program. If you haven't downloaded them yet, do so now. Sony is also offering 14 discounted games to kick off 2014. Included are Crysis 3 for $5, Far Cry: Blood Dragon for $3.75, and the Wolf Among Us' season pass for only $13.49. You can check out all of the deals here.

Our Take
Sony continues to offer great incentives for players to join PlayStation Plus, which has helped lessen the sting of its transition to charging for online multiplayer games on PlayStation 4. We look forward to seeing what Sony has lined up for February. In the meantime, don't forget to grab Ico and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath before they disappear.
