The lights are on
Last week, Rockstar rolled out a promised title update that fixed a number of issues, including lost vehicles and problems playing online. Many players expected that the first of the two $250,000 in-game stimulus payments intended to compensate for the rough launch would hit. As of now, players are still waiting.
The most recent information comes by way of an official Rockstar comment on the publisher's website.
Rockstar continues to work to iron out bugs. It seems that the company wants to make sure that the stimulus money isn't lost after its awarded. We'll update as soon as we know when the first stimulus payment will hit.

Our TakeIt's been 25 days since Grand Theft Auto Online launched. Even just comparing to games with rough opening periods, this isn't good. Rockstar needs to finish up the patches and rebuild the buzz it had just a month ago. Grand Theft Auto Online has potential, but that only goes so far.

Sucks that people are still having issues with this game. After the third patch I haven't had any bugs at all. I can play whenever with my buddies and do missions and races and whatever else. Honestly I can wait for the 500k I'm not having issues making money in game anyways.
What the what? I got mine. HA.
I really hope they fix these bugs quick. Luckily I haven't had much time to play GTA Online yet, so I haven't had to deal with all of these problems.
I have not had any data loss issues, I thought they did fix them. I sure hope I don't have any issues before the next patch.
Ok then until we get our money we will burn the place down!.. Los Santos on fire.. all newbies better watch they back..ya heard me!
Last week: "HELL YEAH ROCKSTAR YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME"
This week: "BOO ROCKSTAR GET YOUR *** TOGETHER YOU ALL SUCK"
Me: "I just hope they fix their problems soon :\"
I need them ducats for my bugatti.
I've pretty much given up on GTAO and I doubt I'll sign back in with it anytime soon. Just way too many problems for me and I'm not enjoying it. The singleplayer is great but the online is kind of a letdown.
I just wish there weren't so many lobbies: they slow down the overall pace immensely. It's an open world game and they did so well making the single player seamless, why can't they take a cue from GW2 and put in dynamic events instead of putting lobbies all over the place? One place they did it well is with the gang attacks.
Well, then they better double the payout since we have to wait until further notice.
I have yet to play online because I really don't want to be a victim. The single-player is great though. I would have waited a while longer for GTA V instead of having Rockstar release a broken component. If anything, they should have released a GTA: Online beta a while back for a limited time and then rolled it out on October 1st like originally planned. Oh well.
Rockstar should know better than to make all the wannabe gangsters that play this game angry.
