The lights are on
Last month, Square Enix and Psyonix revealed a new game set in the Legacy of Kain universe. Unfortunately, it doesn't feature Kain, Raziel, or a single-player campaign at all. Nosgoth is a multiplayer combat game.
To register for Nosgoth's closed alpha, you'll need to visit the official website. You can also read more about the game in our previous coverage.
Our TakeThis is a brave move. Bringing the public into a closed alpha test seems risky, as the game is assuredly rough. Hopefully Square Enix has a good screening protocol (and a non-disclosure agreement) in place. If you aren't interested in playing games far before they are really ready for the public, sign up. If that kind of thing is likely to color your perception of the title, it might be best to wait until beta or later.

I might give it a try if I get in but I don't have high hopes.
It looks and sounds like a really dark Team Fortress 2.
they best be making a soul reaver reboot. khrist.
I'll sign up, but I have really low expectations for this-it looks only tangentially related to the Kain franchise, and will probably be mediocre as a standalone game.
And when this gets bad rep people at SE will be "How the *** did this thing also bomb!?! Did people not want new Kain game? And online pvp games are pop now! What went wrong!"
inb4 shittalk, joining it now boiii
I'm intrigued by this game, so I may see if I can get into the alpha.
