The lights are on
In a second Xbox One video released today, Microsoft talks more about multiplayer and the reputation system. You'll learn more about dedicated servers, matchmaking, how to block disruptive users, and more.
We also hear about the cloud and how it's used in Titanfall. Xbox Home Gold gets some more detail from members of the team, and the decoupling of achievements from individual games. For more on Xbox One, check out the friends list video from earlier today.
Our TakeThe portability of profiles is one of the most interesting things to me. Being able to assign favorites and take them with me is a useful feature. I'm also excited for Home Gold, as I'm getting a little tired of getting booted off my profile when my kids want to watch Netflix. The more we learn about the Xbox One user experience, the more I'm excited to try it out for myself.
Hmm, definitely sounds promising.
Sounds cool to me cant wait to get my hands on my x1. Its sounds like tge x1 will be the best system ever made
All of these features sound really exciting. I don't play much online but I might be more inclined to if the environment was better.
Rep system will be too exploitable.
No matter what they do, the system will still be abused.
That's it. I need to hurry and finish paying off my Xbox One.
I'm interested in seeing whether they really do improve the online experience. I'd love to play online with chat that was actually useful rather than just being a place to hear morons trash talk.
Damn Forza looks sweet on the Xbone. I'm really sad that I'll be losing some of the exclusives when I make the switch. Someone really needs to make an app that would allow you to cross-platform chat. So if I have a PS4 and some of my buddys have the Xbone, we could still chat online. Make it happen someone.
