The lights are on
The Long Dark recently met its Kickstarter goal, bringing backers (and others) one step closer to the title's post-disaster world. Today, the team has announced another familiar voice actor will be joining the cast. David Hayter has signed on.
Hayer joins Metal Gear Solid castmate Jennifer Hale and a team of developers with credits including Mass Effect, Far Cry 3, the Saints Row series, League of Legends, and The Unfinished Swan. There are less than two days left to fund Hinterland's project, and you can learn more about it on the Kickstarter page.
Our TakeI enjoy David Hayter's work, and it still stings to think about him not reprising his role as Snake in Metal Gear Solid V. I retain some hope that this is a Hideo Kojima deception. In the event Hayter really isn't involved in Konami's next stealth action title, I'm just happy to know that I'll be able to hear his voice in other games.

This is looking more and more awesome. Love Hayter's voice. Can't wait to see how this shapes up!
It will be good to hear Hayter's voice again.
Exclamation point, that was unexpected.
I swear it must be a buy one get 4 free deal with MGS voice actors. If Jennifer Hale is on a project or Fred Tattasciore is on a project you had better believe at LEAST 3 other Metal Gear voice actors are on there as well. They must be really good friends.
Wow I am seriously going to keep an eye on this game title. They have two of my favorite voice actors from my two most favorite games!
Sooooo. . . The Long Dark wasn't looking to hire Kiefer Sutherland too? :P Glad Hayter is getting work somewhere.
Hey he might get to do a voice Different then snakes
