by Mike Futter on Aug 28, 2013 at 02:13 AM

2K Games has confirmed yesterday's reports that a Borderlands 2 compilation is on the way. More importantly, we now know a release date.

On October 8, 2013, players will be able to return to Pandora with over $100 worth of content for the price of only $59.99. The package includes all of the previously released DLC, Premiere Club access, and items only available before in the Collector's Edition. Here's what you'll get:

  • Borderlands 2 Main Game;
  • Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty;
  • Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage;
  • Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt;
  • Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep;
  • Creature Slaughter Dome;
  • Premiere Club Content:
  • Gaige, the Mechromancer Character Class;
  • Gearbox Gun Pack;
  • Golden Key;
  • Vault Hunter's Relic;
  • Krieg, the Psycho Character Class;
  • Collector's Edition Heads and Skins;
  • Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1.

If you've been holding out on Borderlands 2, this is the bundle you've been waiting for. You can get it on October 8, on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac. This also gives hope that the Vita version will come filled with all the available goodies.

Our Take
This package is a great deal for those that have been on the sidelines waiting for everything Borderlands 2-related in one place. The added bonus of premiere club access and collector's edition goodies further rewards patience. As Scooter would say, "Get you one!" (Seriously, Borderlands 2 is a lot of fun.)
