The lights are on
Just before the San Diego Comic-Con kicked off last week, Dark Horse Comics announced that it has partnered with PopCap to publish a six-issue Plants vs. Zombies comic mini-series. As of yesterday, issues 1-3 are available digitally for $0.99 each on iOS devices. A hardcover collection of all six issues is set to release in November for $9.99.
The Plants vs. Zombies comic series is titled Lawnmageddon and follows the “confusing-yet-brilliant inventor known only as Crazy Dave” as he – naturally – defends his neighborhood against zombies. The series is written by Paul Tobin, who has written for the Marvel Adventures, and drawn by Ron Chan, who has worked on the comic series Husbands and The Guild.
Issue #4 of Lawnmageddon will go live on July 31, #5 on August 7, and #6 on August 14.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 is set to release for iOS devices later this summer. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming to Xbox One in November.

Our TakeIt's a real shame that Plants vs. Zombies 2 was delayed past its original July 18 release date, but these bi-weekly comics should definitely satisfy fans' appetites for the time being.
seriously... could this be milked any further?
Only two comments? Well, as a reader, I want the digital version. As a teacher, I am getting the hardcover so my students can read on their own time.
According to their Facebook page it's only on the iPhone, not Android too. Source - www.facebook.com/.../10151581347578214 As the first commenter said, if I had an iPhone, yes I'd buy it. But I don't.
